Offenes Drucken
Das Offene Drucken findet regelmäßig von 18:30 Uhr bis 21:00 Uhr statt, alle Termine findest du in der Anmeldung.
Ihr arbeitet an eigenen Projekten und falls ihr Fragen habt oder Hilfe braucht ist eine erfahrene Person vor Ort. Die Nutzungsgebühr für das offene Drucken beträgt 6-18 Euro, dazu kommen Materialkosten je nach Verbrauch.
Einführungskurse
Die Kurse richten sich an Menschen, die noch gar keine Siebdruckerfahrung haben und die Technik kennenlernen möchten, um beim offenen Drucke eigene Projekte zu realisieren. Der Kurs richtet sich an FLINTA only. Bitte lies Dir auch die Webseite der Villa Magdalena K. genau durch, dort findest Du, was für einen Raum wir hier schaffen wollen.
Screen printing
Screen printing is an easy-to-learn stencil printing technique. Two permanently installed screen printing tables offer space to print whatever you want: posters, T-shirts, wallpaper, zines, booklets, stickers, signs and much more.
Letterpress printing
The letterpress process was used for printing newspapers and books until the introduction of the computer. We use this process for experimental printing, letterpress, mono-printing, linoleum and wood printing.
Grafikraum
Der Grafikraum bietet auf 35 m2 Platz für Ausstellungen, Veranstaltungen und Plena und kann von Personen oder Gruppen gemietet werden.
The graphics room offers 35 m2 of space for exhibitions and events by Magdalena K. and her guests, and can be rented for your own events and groups.
Artist in Residence

Wir ermöglichen Künstler*innen als Artist bis zu drei Monaten bei uns im Projekt zu wohnen, zu arbeiten und die entstandene Arbeit mit einer abschließenden Präsentation im Haus einem breiteren Publikum vorzustellen.
Das AIR-Programm wurde anfangs von der Kulturbehörde Hamburg gefördert. Wir stellen ein teilmöbliertes Zimmer und das Angebot, die Druckwerkstatt und den Grafikraum zu nutzen, sowie sich mit anderen Künstler*innen auszutauschen. Am Ende des Gastaufenthaltes können die Künstler*innen ihre hier entstandenen Arbeiten im Rahmen von Vernissagen und Artist Talks einem interessierten Publikum vorstellen.

As an artist in residence you can stay in Villa Magdalena for up to three months and work on your own projects. You live rent-free in a partly furnished 20 sqm room and only pay fee for the print workshop. In return we ask you to organise a public presentation of your project at Villa Magdalena K. at the end of your stay. This presentation can be an exhibition, a talk, a film screening, a performance – depending on what you are working on.
